Combine the best of both worlds

There is so much to see during your visit to Amsterdam, both on land and on the water. If you can't choose between a city tour by bus or a canal cruise, this tour is perfect for you! Splashtours Amsterdam combines both into one incredible adventure.

Splashtours' amphibian bus will take you around the city to show you the most exceptional and beautiful places of Amsterdam. After some sightseeing on land, the bus transforms into a boat! You'll literally splash into the IJ river and continue the tour by enjoying a canal cruise. And that on the same bus.

Splash into the IJ River

For the canal cruise part of the tour we will splash into the water at the city's Oosterdok. From here the bus cruises to the IJ river. This river splits the city, with the Amsterdam North district to the north of the river and the city centre and other districts to the south of the river.

We'll show you the city from the water with attractions such as the famous A'DAM LookOut with swings on top, the Eye Film Museum which is home to a large collection of Dutch and international movie scenes and of course historic Amsterdam Central Station with it's recent bus station addition.

Join the city tour in our amphibian bus

The tour is live-guided in Dutch and English and also has a multilingual audio-guide in 18 languages on board. About half the tour will be on land and second half on the water. This allows you to see Amsterdam's best sights from both the water and the land. All that combined with the adventure of taking a dive into the water.

The boarding point of Splashtours Amsterdam is in the Amsterdam-North district at This Is Holland and the A’DAM LookOut. You can enjoy a free ferry ride from Central Station to Buiksloterweg to get to the departure point.
