The fifteenth edition of the Amsterdam Light Festival will take place from 26 November 2026 to 17 January 2027. Lovely Cruises’ open boats are fully electric, allowing you to cruise through Amsterdam in complete peace and quiet. As the boats are open, you’ll have an unobstructed view of the city and the unique light art installations along the Amsterdam Light Festival route. As the canals glide past you and the city reveals itself anew at every turn, you’ll experience Amsterdam at its most beautiful from the water.
Bring your friends, family or colleagues along and enjoy the cruise together. The boats can accommodate up to 30 people and there’s a range of drinks on board, from mulled wine and hot chocolate to wine, beer and soft drinks.
Departure, route and options
Board the boat at Amsterdam Central Station and set off on a relaxing canal cruise through Amsterdam’s charming canals. From here, you’ll sail past the various light art installations of the Amsterdam Light Festival and have plenty of time to soak up the special atmosphere from the water.
The cruise lasts approximately 90 minutes. For €100 per boat, you can extend the cruise by 30 minutes and enjoy the canals and the festival for even longer.An alternative departure point is also available on request, subject to availability.
