LOVERS Canal Cruise was established in the 1950s, and has turned into the biggest and most professional provider of canal cruises in Amsterdam. We have always strived to provide the best canal cruises available, and with our years of experience, we know our way around the city. Canal cruises have of course been an essential part of any visit to Amsterdam, which we realise, and that's why we strive to be the very best.
Our focus is to provide the classis canal cruise experience, showing the beautiful canal belt of Amsterdam in its glory. We go past all the highlights of the city, and provide audio tours to teach our visitors about these spots in 19 languages. But we also try to innovate In 2016, our entire fleet of 45 boats underwent a substantial upgrade, receiving new interiors, new audio, and of course access to heating and Wi-Fi. We are also working on making the fleet sustainable, currently 80% of our fleet is electric, and we are working on getting this to 100% in 2026.
