The festival is active from the 27 November 2025 until the 18 January 2026.
The light art is spread across the city along the canals in the center of Amsterdam Amsterdam in a single route, and the cruises go past all artworks.

Yes, all boats from LOVERS are heated to a comfortable temperature.
You can book an Amsterdam Light Festival cruise with an IAmsterdam card at our shops for a €10 supplement. Go to a LOVERS shop to redeem your cruise ticket, and for €10 extra you can book an Amsterdam Light Festival instead of a regular cruise there.
That will depend on the cruise you have chosen. Please check the product page or the address written on your ticket.
Our boats are accessible to disabled people when they can stand and walk up and down a couple of steps to get in and out of the boat unassisted. A wheelchair/stroller can't be taken on board. The wheelchair/stroller can be safely placed on the quayside (please note we are not responsible for personal belongings).
A canal cruise by LOVERS goes past all the artworks of the festival, and with the large windows on all sides you will see all of them from up close.
The theme of the festival is Legacy.
There are about 25 light artworks and installations in total. From our boats, you will be able to see all of them.

If you bought your tickets directly from us please see the product page for the cancellation policy of your booking. If you purchased your tickets through a reseller (such as Get Your Guide, Actie van de dag, Groupon, etc.) we kindly ask you to contact them directly.
